The destination for the annual company trip this year was Sigiriya. The entire staff of Ecode spent 2 nights at Hotel Sigiriya from 8th August – 10th August. The days were filled with activities such as swimming, cycling and hiking. There were excursions arranged to the Pidurangala Monastery, the Sigiriya Rock and the Minneriya National Park. The trip ended with a “Hena” Lunch at a village nearby.  Everyone had a great time, from those who took it easy and spent most of their time in the pool - swimming and relaxing, to the more adventurous ones who preferred to sweat it out in the nearby jungles - cycling and hiking, while dodging the wild elephants.  

The motto of the trip was “Like Fire” – the idea being to have an exciting and adventurous time. As Frank Peeters (Managing Director of Ecode) commented, we are convinced that “… this trip will help everybody to program also ‘Like Fire".
